Maiara & Maraísa is a duo sertaneja composed by the twin sisters. They are known for writing songs for artists like Jorge & Mateus and Henrique & Juliano.

They went on stage for the first time at the age of five, during the Song Festival. At age 14 they recorded an album titled Totally Free Geminis. The pair Jorge and Mateus were one of the most important to the success of the twins, because they were always helped specifically by Jorge, so they call his own father. After their release, the pair became known as "As Patroas" e também por suas canções como "10%", "Se Olha no Espelho", "No Dia do Seu Casamento" e "Medo Bobo", which are present in the album Live in Goiânia (2016) and reached the top of the Brazilian charts.
