Jorge & Mateus is a musical duet and one of the most famous interpreters of sertaneja music.
Life & Career
Jorge studied Law and Matheus Agronomy. Each of them began to sing sertanejas songs individually, and their careers met in 2005. They began to appear in bars and houses of show in the regions goianas. In 2007, they released their first album called "Jorge & Mateus - Ao vivo em Goiânia". A live show with the DVD "Pode chorar" was highly celebrated and awarded the ABPD Gold Record after have sold more than 100,000 paid downloads in Brazil. In 2015, the album "Os anjos cantam" was nominated for the 16th Latin Grammy in the Best Country Music Album category.
