Bio

Naiara de Fátima Azevedo (born October 30, 1989) is a Brazilian singer-songwriter.

Life & Career

In 2011, in the face of the great success of the single "Sou Foda", by the pair Carlos & Jader, who in her eyes passed a somewhat negative image of the woman, Naiara decided to compose a song in response and post a home video on YouTube. The song, called "Coitado", which brought a letter inverse to that of the song "Sou Foda", prioritizing and strengthening the feminine point of view, opened the doors to Naiara. With an impressive amount of 20 to 27 shows a month, Naiara Azevedo ended up winning a slogan, which she even used to publicize her work: "Naiara Azevedo, defending the woman." In 2012, Naiara recorded her first DVD. In January 2016, Naiara moved to Goiânia, the capital of the sertanejos, to record the new project, titled "Totalmente Diferente", which debuted the hit "50 Reais" and quickly won Brazil , shooting the list of most played songs on Brazilian radios and entering the top 100 of the most viewed videos on YouTube, reaching 75th. In April 2017, Naiara announced the recording of their third DVD and fourth live album "Contrast". The show held in the city of Rio de Janeiro on May 9, 2017 had the special guest appearances of Ivete Sangalo, Gusttavo Lima, Wesley Safadão and MC Kevinho. At the end of 2017 the artist released the track "pegada que desgrama", quickly reaching with it the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
