The band announced their eighth studio album would be a double album titled Everyday Life, despite previously hinting that A Head Full of Dreams would be their final studio album. The album was released & was marked by a double concert in Amman, Jordan & was performed at sunrise and sunset, corresponding with the subtitles of the album's two halves.
