OneRepublic broke into the mainstream in the late 2000s with the Timbaland remix of ‘Apologize.’ Frontman Ryan Tedder has written for high-profile talent including Beyoncé, Maroon 5 and Adele. With each successive album, OneRepublic veered more and more into pop territory. Their fourth album, Oh My My, featured electronic dance and pop flourishes.

In 2007, OneRepublic released their debut album, Dreaming Out Loud. Its lead single, ‘Apologize,’ was remixed by Timbaland. The band's second album, Waking Up, produced the singles ‘Good Life’ and ‘Native.’ Their third album, Native (2013), became the band's first top ten album on the Billboard 200. Their fourth album, Oh My My, featured a number of collaborators. To date, the band has sold over 10 million records worldwide.
