Bio

Grammy winning French electronic music artist David Guetta rose to popularity on top of the dazzling wave of DJs, who at the beginning of the 21st century fused smooth house music with a pinch of electroclash. During the late 2000s EDM boom with chart-toppers like ‘One Love’ and ‘Nothing But the Beat,’ his house anthems became fixtures on the dance charts well into the 2010s. Often featuring prominent pop and rap stars including regular collaborators such as Nicki Minaj, Sia, Chris Willis & Rihanna, David is a fun-loving slacker DJ & is known as the 'grandfather of EDM'.

Life & Career

Guetta started out as DJ at the Paris Broad Club. In 2001, he met Chriss Willis, a gospel singer, with whom he later worked on the songs 'Love Is Gone' and 'Getting Over You' featuring LMFAO and Fergie. Guetta released his first album, 'Just a Little More Love,' in 2002. This album was released shortly after he co-founded Gum Productions with great success. The second album featured the song 'Delirious' which became a hit. Guetta released another studio album in 2009, which he called 'One Love,' his fourth album. Guetta was also involved in writing and recording the 'Unapologetic' album from Rihanna.
