With the release of 'Yellow' introducing music fans to their signature melodic, piano-driven anthems, Coldplay ended up getting world-famous and has gone on to become one of the planet's most popular acts, selling more than 75 million copies of their seven Number One albums. Coldplay quickly gained international fame in 2000 with Parachutes, out of the success of their monster ballad, 'Yellow.' The album went on to achieve multi-platinum status and the Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album in 2002. The band announced their eighth studio album would be a double album titled Everyday Life, despite previously hinting that A Head Full of Dreams would be their final studio album. The album was released & was marked by a double concert in Amman, Jordan & was performed at sunrise and sunset, corresponding with the subtitles of the album's two halves.
