Travis Scott, born Jacques Webster, gained limelight in 2012 when he signed his first major label-deal with Epic Records. Travis Scott’s most notable work came with the debut album ‘Rodeo’ and its single ‘Antidote’. While ‘Rodeo’ debuted at number 3 on the US Billboard 200 chart and at no. 1 on the Billboard Rap Album chart, its single ‘Antidote’ went on to become his highest-charting single on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at number 16. It was his first platinum single. Scott’s second album ‘Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight’ as a major hit and reaffirmed his dominance as a rapper and singer. The album helped him bag a deal with Universal Music Publishing Group.
