Travis Scott, born Jacques Webster, gained limelight in 2012 when he signed his first major label-deal with Epic Records. In April 2013, Scott signed a record deal with T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint as well. His second album 'Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight' and a collaborative album 'Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho' have faired extremely well. The single 'Antidote' from his album 'Rodeo' became his first to reach the top 20 of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Travis Scott’s most notable work came with the debut album ‘Rodeo’ and its single ‘Antidote’. While ‘Rodeo’ debuted at number 3 on the US Billboard 200 chart and at no. 1 on the Billboard Rap Album chart, its single ‘Antidote’ went on to become his highest-charting single on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at number 16. It was his first platinum single. Scott’s second album ‘Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight’ as a major hit and reaffirmed his dominance as a rapper and singer. The album helped him bag a deal with Universal Music Publishing Group.
