Lady Gaga was discovered by R&B singer Akon while performing in a burlesque show. Akon signed the performer to his label under the Interscope umbrella, Kon Live. In 2016, she performed at the 88th Annual Academy Awards, performing ‘Til It Happens to You.’ With her sixth studio album, Chromatica, Gaga released the dance-worthy single ‘Stupid Love’ & the collab with Ariana Grande, ‘Rain On Me’ in 2020. Furthermore, Gaga had partnered up with Global Citizen, an environmental activist organization, to organize the April 2020 virtual concert ‘One World: Together At Home.’ The concert, including performances by luminaries such as Paul McCartney, Elton John and Taylor Swift, raised over $127 million to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
