Revelation Group is a Brazilian group of samba originated in the district of Engenho Novo and started its trajectory in the Arranco do Engenho de Dentro that already sold millions of discs

The year 2002 was decisive for the Revelation Group. The Rio de Janeiro sextet switched from label to Deckdisc and released the album "Ao Vivo no Olimpo", which, from the top of its more than 700,000 copies, was the second best selling CD of the year and the first in the pagode category. The success that until then was restricted to Rio de Janeiro, became national and, in 2003, crossed the frontiers tupiniquins with a long tour of the United States, Japan and Europe, starting a promising international career. It is before this new reality that the Revelation Group released "Novos Tempos", their fourth album, second by Deckdisc. In 2005, following the label's innovative trends, the group released the first DualDisc of Brazilian samba to celebrate the first million copies sold by Deckdisc. In 2006 the group takes time out in the live record sequence and returns to studio recording, releasing another hugely successful CD, "Speed ​​of Light." The Group decides in 2009 to release yet another album live. This time the task is bigger, because the goal is the recording of a DVD the location chosen for the recordings was Morro da Urca in Rio de Janeiro, the DVD was stipulated as Ao Vivo no Morro. The Arena was packed on August 29, 2009 brightening up this new work that burst in the whole of Brazil, and had its second edition, which is the continuation of the previous DVD show, Ao Vivo no Morro 2, which marks the debut of the group at Universal Music, which promises to make the group gain more and more space in the media!
