Djavan showing his beauty at the 1997 Montreaux Festival. Samurai has a pretty cool story. Djavan went to Los Angeles to record the album Luz in 1982. The producer wanted him to record a song with none other than Stevie Wonder, but Djavan thought he didn't have any songs from the record's repertoire that matched Wonder, so he composed Samurai very quickly. Stevie Wonder plays harmonica in the original version and this song is one of Master Djavan's most beautiful songs.
Only *pure and genuine love* at the height of reciprocity can bring all that happiness! Love is simple, fragile and at the same time there is no money in the world to buy it! 🙏🏻❤️
Djavan is a giant of Brazilian music, when he sang this song in the show I went to at the Rock the Mountain festival last month everyone who was there sang along! It cheered up too much #thousands of #people
Djavan is unique in the world of music, he is a singer who has a voice that no one else has and incredible lyrics, I hope that one day I will be able to witness this legend in one of his shows.

My grandmother won a Top Model soap opera LP and she has this song...I think I must have been like 10 years old, that's when I met this extraordinary singer.
It is a privilege to be able to listen to Djavan, a song with a voice very different from the others and with extraordinary music like that, every time the Ocean I have a peaceful heart.
