Mayra Corrêa Aygadoux, conhecida como Maria Gadú, (São Paulo, 4 de dezembro de 1986), é uma cantora, compositora, instrumentista e produtora brasileira. Desde sua estreia à grande mídia, a cantora chamou a atenção de público e crítica, sendo indicada cinco vezes ao Grammy Latino.
Maria Gadú released her first album in 2009, self-titled Maria Gadú. Since her debut, Maria has attracted the attention of public and critics, being nominated twice for the Latin Grammy. Her single "Shimbalaiê" became a number one hit in Italy during summer 2011, staying atop the FIMI chart for five straight weeks. On March 27, 2015, the singer publishes on her Facebook official an image confirming the release of her third studio album. At the end of April of the same year, the singer confirmed the release of her new album "Guelã", still during the year 2015. The first single of the album was released by the singer on May 6, 2015 and is called "Obloco" . With the success of the album, "Guelã" was recorded on DVD on August 11, 2016 at Centro Cultural São Paulo.
