Anuradha Paudwal is an Indian playback singer who works primarily in Bollywood. Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian award, was awarded to her by the Government of India in 2017. She is also a recipient of the National Film Award and a four-time film fare award winner. Although primarily a playback singer, she has also sung several bhajans.
Anuradha Paudwal is a Marathi and a Hindi movie actor. She has also sung in movies such as Tamil, Odia, Nepali and Kannada languages. She made her debut in the field of music by singing a Sanskrit verse in a Hindi film titled Abhiman. In the Marathi film Yashoda, her singing talent was recognised by the audience, and since then, she's been singing through the soundtrack of movie songs, lyrics and hymns for over four decades now. In England, the Indo-British All-Party Parliamentary Group boasted of Anuradha Paudwal, her musical career and social work in the Parliament of England which gained her immense reputation & recognition.
