Pearl Jam was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 7, 2017, in its first year of eligibility. The band had sold more than 85 million albums worldwide, and nearly 32 million albums in the United States by 2012. The group is considered 'the most popular American rock & roll band of the '90s' by AllMusic.
