California-bred Billie Eilish crafts genre-blurring outcast anthems, spanning the gap between ethereal indie electronic and gritty alternative pop. With frantic, introspective songs that don't shy away from mental health problems, she enjoyed a loyal audience during her breakout years at the end of the 2010s when she was just a teenager. At the age of eight, Billie Eilish joined the Los Angeles Children's Choir, cultivating a soulful voice that would later feature on her first singles. After the release of the pop-leaning, 'Six Feet Under' and 'Fingers Crossed,' Eilish made a breakthrough with 'Ocean Eyes,' produced and co-written with her brother Finneas and released by Interscope. Eilish followed up with 'Bellyache,' in 2017, then landed another track, 'Bored,' on the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why. Although Eilish remained on the road for an international tour in 2020, she released a stand-alone single, 'Everything I Wanted;' a bittersweet take on her meteoric rise to fame and becoming the youngest artist to be nominated in the four major Grammy categories.
