Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa is an English singer, songwriter, and former model. Her best-selling single 'New Rules' has been a hit worldwide. Lipa identifies her music as dark pop & has won two 'Brit Awards' for 'British Female Solo Artist' and 'British Breakthrough Act.' She began posting cover versions of songs by her favorite artists on YouTube when she was 14 & has the most streamed album officially by a female artist in Spotify history. The video for her breakout global #1 hit 'New Rules' made her the youngest female solo artist to reach one billion views on YouTube.

Dua Lipa was influenced by her singer father & attended the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School part-time. At 15, she moved back to London to pursue a career in music. She aggressively promoted her YouTube channel & in 2015, signed a contract with Warner Music Group, releasing her debut single, 'New Love.' In 2018, Lipa received nominations in five categories at the 'Brit Awards' as the only artist that year, as well as the first female artist ever to achieve this feat. In April that year, she provided vocals and contributed to the lyrics of 'One Kiss' by Calvin Harris. Lipa also collaborated with electronic music producer Whethan for the song 'High' from the film 'Fifty Shades Freed.' Her debut album reached No.3 on the UK chart.
