Shawn Mendes, Juno-winning and Grammy nominee, is a Canadian pop artist, songwriter, and model. His debut single, 'Life of the Party,' charted the Billboard 100 at No. 24. Mendes was dubbed the 'next Justin Bieber,' but his acoustic-driven and catchy songs align more with the musical style of his idol Ed Sheeran. His platinum-selling hits have been supported by loyal fans of Mendes & he is now a poster boy of sorts on how to become a social media-era superstar. He has since released his next single 'Treat you Better' which was part of his studio album 'Illuminate' & the single continued to grow in popularity and also peaked in the charts in the UK.
