Lagum appeared in 2014, after the vocalist posted on social networks a video in which he sang a song composed by him. The video took on imaginable proportions. Lagum is the mining band with the largest number of monthly listeners on music streaming platforms. "Deixa", "Eu não vou mentir, and others, have caused the band to reach 105 thousand registered on Youtube. The channel has almost ten million views. The band makes, on average, six presentations per month and in 2018 signed contract with the record company Sony Music. In June of the same year, soccer player Neymar had published a story on the Instagram listening to the hit of the group "Deixa", in full World Cup. The band has since entered the ranks of the 50 most played songs on Spotify.
