Avenged Sevenfold (abbreviated as A7X) is an American heavy metal band that formed in 1999.

Life & Career

Avenged Sevenfold was formed in 1999. The band's third albumn which also become major label debut "City of the Evil" debuted on number 30 on Billboard Chart 200. Unlike the band's previous album, in this album, Avenges Sevenfold using more hard rock and heva emetal style. Then, Avenged Sevenfold start getting attention from mainstream media. In 2007, the band released self-titled album and successfully debuted on number 4 on the Billboard chart. One of the song is titled "Dear God" which has country elemen in it and different from the band's usual songs. After the death of their member, The Rev, Avenged Sevenfold released album "Hail to the King" and on the top chart right after it debuted.
