After initially winning fans for The Voice in 2012, Martinez took her experimental pop to full height on her Top Ten debut album, 2015’s Cry Baby.

Melanie Martinez began her singing career by becoming a contestant on The Voice Season 3. Her singles performances from the show were ably charted on iTunes chart. After eliminated from the show, Martinez released her debut single 'Dollhouse' which lead her signing with Atlantic Records. In 2015, Martinez released her studio album 'Cry Baby' which has a storyline and continued with the next EP 'Cry Baby's Extra Clutter' that released in 2016.
