Los Angeles' Doja Cat is a singer and rapper known for her wry hypnotic voice, full of deep hip-hop and electronic R&B influences. As a teen, she learned piano and took lessons in tap dance, ballet and jazz. She discovered surfing and breakdancing, too.

Doja Cat started recording songs on her computer and released her debut EP, Purrr, in 2014. She soon found herself hitting the track 'So High' with a viral hit. Her sophomore album, Hot Pink, was easy to follow; with features from Smino, Gucci Mane, and Tyga, the 2019 LP leaned further into the sexually wrathful facets of her ever-changing personality. 'Say So,' she raised the charts even further.
