In 2007, she publicly debuted with an EP "Metropolis: Suite I (The Chase)". The album was a big success. Her famous work is her collaboration with band fun. with the single "We Are Young" which gives her more name. Monàe released her third studio album "Dirty Computer" in 2018. In 2019, She released a new music video for her song "Screwed". The video included the collaboration of actresses Tessa Thompson and Zoe Kravitz, who is also featured in the track.
