Ritviz Srivastava is an Indian songwriter, electronic musician and record producer from Pune, Maharashtra, India. He is known for his song 'Udd Gaye' featured on A.I.B.'s official YouTube channel, after winning the 2017 Bacardi House Party Sessions, a talent hunting competition organised by A.I.B. His mother is a classical vocalist and teaches Performing Arts as a leading instructor. This resulted in early exposure to music. He began learning music at the age of six and went on to be mentored by Pandit Uday Bhawalkar in the Dhrupad subgenre of Hindustani Music. He wrote his first song at the age of 10. His music is bass-heavy and rich in eastern sounds.
At the age of 15, Ritviz decided to be a musician and left school by the age of 17. He started his career in 2013 by releasing his debut EP 'Vizdumb' on UK's Relentik Records in 2014. 'Mukti' a single that was signed to and released by High Chai Recordings - the US-based global bass music label came the following year. Since the release of YUV, he has received significant support and appreciation from top Indian bass music producers including the likes of Nucleya, Su Real and SickFlip. Ritviz was announced as the winner of Bacardi House Party Sessions India, where his single 'Udd Gaye' was handpicked and released, along with a music video, by AIB & Nucleya. An instant hit, the music video garnered 2.5 Million views in just four weeks of its release. His associated acts include a remix of Nucleya's track Lights, from 2016 album called Raja Baja.
