In 2015, Martinez released her studio album 'Cry Baby' which has a storyline and continued with the next EP 'Cry Baby's Extra Clutter' that released in 2016. Melanie Martinez's style is unique and using themes for her performances. 2020 brought the dreamy harp-led single, 'Fire Drill,' along with the buoyant 'Play Date.'
