Elizabeth Santos Leal de Carvalho known professionally as Beth Carvalho (born May 5, 1946 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian samba singer, guitarist, cavaquinist and composer.

Since becoming successful in the 1970s, Beth has become one of the greatest performers of the genre, helping to unveil names like Luiz Carlos da Vila, Jorge Aragão, Zeca Pagodinho, Almir Guineto, the group Fundo de Quintal and Arlindo Cruz. (From Wikipedia)
