Best known for her track ‘Munni Badnam Hui’, Mamta Sharma is an Indian playback singer. Born and brought up in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, Sharma was always inclined towards performing on stage. Before making her way to Bollywood, she was very popular in the Bhojpuri music industry. Sharma’s Bollywood debut song, ‘Munni Badnam Hui’ from Dabangg, earned her critical acclaim, several award nominations, and a Filmfare award for Best Playback Singer (Female) in 2011. She’s since lent her voice on tracks for several Bollywood hits like Yamla Pagla Deewana, Housefull 2, Dabangg 2, and Bullett Raja, to name a few.
