The Waile

The Wailers is a Jamaican reggae band created in 1962 by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Beverley Kelso, Cherry Smith and Junior Braithwaite under the name Wailing Wailers. They started playing ska and other Jamaican rhythms like rocksteady

From 1970, after the departure of three musicians of the original formation, the band happened to be called only Wailers. In 1973 they released the album Catch a Fire, already with the name of Bob Marley & the Wailers, disc that made immediate international success. Still in 1973, they released the album Burnin ', with the band calling only Wailers.
