This song is by sambist Leci Brandão and it tells a real story: in the 1970s, on Morro do Pau da Bandeira, resident José Mendes da Silva decided to place a speaker on top of his house to communicate with other residents of the community. He told the news, the weather forecast, death notes and everything that was informative. The residents were very confident in what José "Zé" said. I'm going to have to make a video about that one! #behindthemusic
The combination between Ana Carolina and Seu Jorge in this song was like rice and beans, the combination of the voices of the two was wonderful and they fit together in an inexplicable way.
A version of Irish musician Damien Rice's The Blower's Daughter, "That's it" was ubiquitous on radio stations across the country in 2005 and secured triple platinum CDs and diamond DVDs for its audiences. "To this day, if one of them doesn't sing the song at shows, people get frustrated."
Ana Carolina and Seu Jorge, two of the most unique voices in Brazilian music today, in such a magnificent interpretation, together with a beautiful arrangement and super touching lyrics #enchanted #talent
