MC Dede is one of the pioneers of the funk ostentação movement in São Paulo, being the author of the hit "Olha o Kit".

Born in home of funk ostentação in São Paulo, Dede represents the peripheral youth and their desires of consumption, being one of the few MCs that knew how to make the transition in funk and follow the movements of the scene.
