Mad Ne-Y

Salem Ilese is an American singer and songwriter. She became a household name when her single, ‘Mad at Disney’ went viral on TikTok in September 2020. For Ilese music had been part and parcel of her life and upbringing. After dropping out from the Berklee College of Music, Ilese started making up-tempo pop songs after discovering the world of electronic production. Her track, ‘Mad at Disney’ achieved almost 1.8 million views overnight, putting her on the map. She credits artists Lorde, Alexander 23, Red Hearse, Charli XCX, and Jon Bellion as her new age inspirations.
