Born in Salvador, Yuri Martins moved to São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro, when he was 3 years old, and in his childhood he met funk thanks to his father. In mid-2004, the DJ got to know BPM Studio Pro and then, started to produce music.

Yuri is the producer of massive hits like "Vai Malandra", "Oh Novinha", "Vai Embrazando" and other successes of the brazilian funk.
