Desnier

Sidney Royel Selby III, better known by his stage name Desiigner, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, record executive, and actor. His tryst with music began when he started practicing vocals at the school choir and the church as a kid. Desiigner embarked on his music career under his original moniker Dezolo before he began putting out work on these tracks under the alias of Designer Royel. He rose to prominence in 2016 after the release of his debut single ‘Panda’, which reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and released his first EP, New English in the same year. In February 2016, rapper and producer Kanye West signed Desiigner's to his GOOD Music imprint, under the aegis of Def Jam Recordings. The rapper released his second EP, L.O.D in 2018, and in 2019, he was released from GOOD Music and Def Jam and is currently independent. In 2020, Desiigner released the track, ‘Diva’ under his independent label LOD Records.
