Known for his moody, layered electronic productions, Germany's Nicolas Demuth (aka Parra for Cuva) first grabbed listeners' attention around 2014 with his singles 'Fading Nights' and a cover of Chris Isaak's 'Wicked Game,' both featuring vocalist Anna Naklab. The latter went platinum, expanding Parra for Cuva's reach and prepping audiences for his debut full-length, 2014's Majouré.
Nicolas Demuth (aka Parra for Cuva) studied audio design in Berlin, influenced by the rich musical history of the city. His first release, Fading Nights EP, appeared on French label Délicieuse Records in mid-2013. Signing the track "Wicked Games" to influential EDM label Spinnin' made his profile rise. 2014 saw Parra for Cuva issue releases on Traum Schallplatten, as well as find a home on the Berlin-based Lenient Tales label. In 2015, he issued his debut album, Majouré, which featured guest spots by hip-hop artist Nieve, Casey K, and Monsoonsiren. In 2018, Parra for Cuva released his third full-length album, Paspatou, which included guest spots from May, and m.lost.
