Leland Austin, better known by his stage name Yung L.A. or Da Boi Lay, is an American hip hop recording artist from Atlanta, Georgia. He is best known for his debut single 'Ain't I', which peaked at number 47 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and number seven on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
In 2008, Austin was signed with Grand Hustle Records, after fellow Atlanta artist Young Dro had discovered and took Austin to the label. The same year, Austin released his debut mixtape Offset Shawty and his debut single, titled "Ain't I." The single went on to the Billboard Hot 100 chart at number 47 and was RIAA certified platinum. With Interscope Records, he released his debut album, titled Futuristic Leland while also releasing a mixtape titled The Matrix. Yung L.A. released a couple of mixtapes in 2015 namely, Expensive Language, 3 Way: 80Lay Mafia, 3 Way: Dripset & 3 Way: Foreign Water.
