When I first heard Asereje, I couldn't help but dance. But as I listened closer, I realized how relatable the lyrics were to my own mental health struggles. Elly C's strength and vulnerability is admirable.
For me, this song is like the jewel in the crown of the quinceañeros, they always play it at parties and everyone knows the choreography, I like it because it is catchy, but sometimes I get tired of listening to it so much.
