Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as K.K. in a prominent Indian singer in the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, and Gujarati music industry. Born in Delhi, Kunnath sang about 3500 jingles before making his way into Bollywood. His strongest musical influences include the legendary singer Kishore Kumar, composer R.D. Burman, and Michael Jackson, Billy Joel, Bryan Adams as his international influences. K.K. released his debut album ‘Pal’ in 1999 which won him a Star Screen Award for Best Male Singer. His work in Bollywood won him another Screen Award for Best Playback Singer in 2009 for ‘Khuda Jaane’ from the 2008 Ranbir Kapoor starrer Bachna Ae Haseeno. KK’s also been a part of MTV’s musical venture Coke Studio for which he sang a qawwali with Sabri Brothers called ‘Chadta Suraj’.
