William Almeida Araújo chose the first and last letter of his name to create his nickname, MC WM.

MC WM is one of the biggest names in Brazilian funk, he is the owner of Funk's most famous hits such as "Fuleragem", "Pampuda", "Rabetânia", "Transariano", "Grave Faz Bum" and others.
