Hotel Room Mote

Rose had begun playing music at the age of five, when he took up the didgeridoo. He moved on to guitar at ten, then delved into the basics of music production. Busking regularly throughout his teens, he eventually saved enough money to move to Los Angeles.

Blake Rose wrote his debut single, "Hotel Room," with fellow Aussie singer/songwriter Joel Adams (his then-roommate) and songwriter/producer Justin Gammella. Soon after its release in November 2018, appearances in music blog features and on high-profile editorial play lists helped it quickly garner hundreds of thousands of streams. He followed it with the tenderer "Lost" in early 2019.
