Japanese Breakfast

Japanese Breakfast is the moniker of musician Michelle Zauner who is working on her project as a soloist.

Zauner came all the way back home before she began recording for her solo music. Instead of going with her own name, she goes with the name of Japanese Breakfast to brand her own solo project. On 2016, Japanese Breakfast released its first studio album, Psychopomp, under Yellow K Records. n 2019, Japanese Breakfast released two singles under the W Hotels music label, Essentially and a cover of the Tears for Fears song, Head Over Heels.
