Khaled, better known as DJ Khaled, is a Palestinian-American DJ, producer, President of Def Jam South and radio personality for the Miami-based urban music radio station WEDR.
Life & Career
DJ Khaled first gained prominence as a radio host in the 1990s on Miami hip-hop station 99 Jamz. His popularity brought him to become a DJ for hip hop group Terror Squad. Then he shifted his gear to music industry with a release of his debut album Listennn... the Album in 2006. He finally set up his own record label named We the Best Music Group.
