What additional information do you have about Pulp?

Pulp was an English rock band formed in Sheffield in 1978. They were an important part of the Britpop movement in the 1990s, achieving great success with songs like 'Common People' and 'Disco 2000'. The band's best-known lineup included Jarvis Cocker on vocals, Doyle on keyboards, Russell Senior on guitar and violin, Mark Webber on guitar, Steve Mackey on bass and Nick Banks on drums.

During the 1980s, Pulp struggled to find commercial success, but eventually excelled in the UK in the mid-1990s with the release of the albums 'His 'n' Hers' in 1994 and especially 'Different Class' in 1995, which reached number one in the UK album charts. Pulp's musical style during this period consisted of pop-rock influenced by disco music, along with references to British culture in his lyrics in the form of a 'kitchen sink' drama style.

After a long hiatus, Pulp reunited to play live again in 2011, with dates at festivals such as Isle of Wight and Glastonbury, and in 2013 they released 'After You', a re-recording of a demo from their album 'We Love Life'.
