In 1996, the band's path took yet another pioneering turn. Reforming as Quad City DJ's, they produced 'C'mon N' Ride It (The Train)', a rap-remix of Barry White's 1974 'Theme from Together Brothers'. The song shot up to #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified platinum.
Quad City DJ's didn't stop there. They produced the album 'Get On Up and Dance', featuring 'C'mon N' Ride It (The Train)', which peaked at #31 on the Billboard Hot 200 and also received platinum certification. The album also included the hit 'Summer Jam', which reached #27 on the Billboard Hot Rap Singles chart.
In the same year, their efforts were acknowledged on an international scale when they contributed to the Space Jam soundtrack. Their theme song received ample screen time on MTV and charted at #37 on the Billboard Hot 100.
