Wejdene Chaïb (born April 23, 2004), known as by her nomonym Wejdene, is a French singer and songwriter. She rose the fame with her hit single "Anissa" in April 2020 and published on TikTok a first video of her song. She proposed a challenge to her subscribers, but the community proposes another one based on a cover of the lyrics and a choreography that is reproduced by about 900 thousand users in a few months. The following month, "Anissa" receives its gold certificate with over 15,000,000 streams. Her debut album 16 was released on September 25, 2020, the title is a reference to her age, which she kept secret until then. It is composed of twelve tracks without featuring.
