Once known as Tity Boi, being one-half of the Southern hip hop duo Playaz Circle, 2 Chainz has managed to become a guest verse artist with three platinum hits under his name. From featuring Kanye to Nicki Minaj & Major Lazer, 2 Chainz changed it all with his first solo album releasing the Top 40 hits parade back in 2010.

2 Chainz released his debut studio album based on a T.R.U. Story in 2013, garbing mixed reviews, spawning three successful singles: 'No Lie,' 'Birthday Song,' and 'I'm Different' - all of which charted in the top 50 of the Billboard Hot 100 and were certified Gold or higher by the RIAA. Before his debut, Epps formed the hip hop duo Playaz Circle in Georgia back in 1997, with Dolla Boy, while Epps adopted 'Tity Boi' as his moniker. In early 2011, Epps decided to change his stage name to 2 Chainz, as he perceived it to be more 'family friendly' as opposed to Tity Boi & in 2012, Epps signed a solo record deal with Def Jam Recordings. Epps second studio album B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time was released in 2013, supported by the singles ‘Feds Watching’ and ‘Used 2’. In 2017, 2 Chainz began working on TV Network Viceland's show Most Expensivest, which aired three seasons since.
