In 2020, Australia was introduced to the heart-wrenching voice of Budjerah: a new, homegrown kind of R&B star. Most recently supporting Ed Sheeran on his 2023 Australian Tour, the second chapter in a story with Sheeran that started last year with his appearance on the British megastar’s track “2Step” which has seen close to 10 million streams. Budjerah has seen an explosion of new fans around his new Platinum certified single “Therapy” on which the Coodjinburra artist pushes boundaries vocally and sonically on the R&B/pop crossover. Since debuting Budjerah is now a two-time ARIA Award-winner (‘Breakthrough Artist’ 2023 and ‘Best Soul/R&B Release’ 2022) alongside an incredible five ARIA nominations alone in 2023. Additionally Budjerah took home ‘Best New Artist’ at the 2023 Rolling Stone Australia Awards and a nomination for ‘Best Single’ for “Ready For The Sky”.
