Rashmeet Kaur Nayyar

Rashmeet Kaur is an Indian singer and songwriter. Born in Punjab and raised in Delhi, her tryst with music with Gurmat sangeet and the harmonium. She started learning music from her mother when she was only 6 and started training formally from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Delhi, and Jasvinder Kaur. Kaur participated in the musical reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2012 and Asia's Singing Superstar in 2015 and was one of the top 6 contestants. In 2017, she was awarded Mirchi Music Awards, Bangla for ‘Upcoming Female Voice of the Year’ and in 2018, Rashmeet Kaur became the first-ever winner of, The Remix – an Amazon Prime Originals music reality show. Kaur has lent her voice to numerous ad jingles and the song, ‘Heer’ from the Bollywood film, Phillauri.
