João Paulo (José Henrique dos Reis) and Daniel (José Daniel Camillo), both born in Brotas (São Paulo), formed a Brazilian sertaneja duo.

They formed the duo in 1980. In 1985 they released Love Always Love, the pair's first studio album. They made several career hits, like the song "Estou Apaixonado" version of Estoy Enamorado, the duo's main single. The duo ended on September 12, 1997, when a car accident took the life of John Paul.
