Dev Negi is an Indian singer and songwriter known for his numerous Bollywood chartbusters. Hailing from a hilly town in Uttarakhand, Negi grew up listening to the greats Kishore Kumar and Mohammed Rafi who he credits for most of his musical knowledge. Negi made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with the track ‘Aaja Ab Jeele Zara’ for the movie, Ankur Arora Murder Case. A plethora of back to back hits, followed these, but it was the 2017 track, ‘Badri Ki Dulhania’ that proved to be a significant career milestone and was the most viewed Indian song on YouTube that year. Negi’s delivered chartbusters for super hit films like ‘Chalti Hai Kya 9 Se 12’ for Judwaa 2, ‘Sweety Tera Drama’ from Bareilly Ki Barfi, and ‘Butterfly’ for Jab Harry Met Sejal among many more. Apart from Hindi, he’s also recorded songs for Punjabi, Marathi, Telugu, and Bengali films. In 2019, Negi collaborated with American music producer and composer Pritam to record the track, ‘Biba’ which went on to be a big hit.
