Mehfooz Hai

Ankit Tiwari is an Indian playback singer, music director, composer and actor. He was drawn to music from a very early age because his parents were part of a musical troupe. He is skilled in classical, dhrupad and western music as well as piano.

Ankit Tiwary's career started when he met Pradeep Sarkar, where he got a chance to work on jingles and began composing background music for television programmes. Subsequently, he was offered to compose music for Dooni Chaar (2010) and Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster (2011), where he began his career as a singer with a song he wrote later. In 2013, Ankit Tiwary released his third album, 'Sunn Raha Hai' by Aashiqui 2. This song was a big hit and was well received all over the world, the song and the album were nominated for two Filmfare Awards, which earned the Best Music Director Award. In 2014, he collaborated again with Ek Villain, where he wrote and sung the second super hit track 'Galliyan.' He also recorded the song 'O Yara' for the Pakistani movie, Bin Roye.
